Question by Xanthe ♫: Where are the best camping & hiking spots in south east Queensland?
My husband and I have a couple of days off work in a couple of weeks so we are interested in going camping somewhere around south east queensland.

Do you have a favourite spot or know of any that we can check out?

We don’t do a lot of fishing or water sports so a lake or dam is not necessary, however we do like climbing mountains and doing walks…
Thought I should add that we live in Brisbane so we know the areas around here – but we would like specific insight into the camp grounds and which ones are good or not…

If you google Glass house Mountains you will find plenty of sites you can look at also South of Brisbane above the Gold Coast there is Springbrook National park, Mount Tamborine etc so you can Google The Gold Coast Hinterland as well.Take plenty of warm clothes.

My friend and I are planning on going camping in two or three weeks..

We’re looking for a place that’s near a lake or river, has a shower “indoors or out doors” and we can just camp out in our tents or stay in a cabin.

Anything with water sports, jet skis, fishing, ect. is a plus!

Hi,

Can you guys give me suggestion,2 more weeks from now i planning to go to camping with my friends but i can’t find a best place where we can do most of the activity like fishing hiking sport and we can build our own tent and also have restroom where we can take a shower,i looking for place not to far from west covina,maybe 1 to 2 hours away it’s fine

please help me,thank you so much

if your looking for a place close to west covina you may be outta luck lol ( jk-ish)

why dont you try yellowstone, idyllwild, or big bear. all of these places are AWESOME for everything that you want.

Im filling out an application for a wholesale sports store and im applying for the camping or fishing departments since those are the ones that are open and they want to know if I have specific skills or experiences that I have which pertain to the positions. What should I write down?
